Blitzmas! A Very Ruckus Holiday Show

The Bay Area’s wildest holiday party hits the stage with a wicked winter variety show featuring comedy, circus, and spectacular mayhem! Our annual holiday edition is an anarchic romp where every holiday trope gets remixed and spun ten ways to Sunday. Festive pole dancers, pagan rituals go feral, Santa busting battle raps and more! Come watch comedy, circus and carnage collide as only Ruckus can deliver, performed by one of the most electrifying casts you’ll ever see live. The East Bay Express calls The Ruckus Revival “the most consistently spectacular event Oakland has ever seen,” and every month brings a brand-new lineup and a different flavor of madness. No reruns, no repeat acts. This is our annual holiday blowout, and it gets wilder every year. Featuring the wildest mix of acts you’ll find anywhere: • Uncensored circus • Stand up comedy • Burlesque • Pole performance • Freestyle rap battles • Aerial artistry • Beat-boxing • Slam poetry & Dirty Haiku Bouts • Shocking sideshow • Breakdancing • Full-throttle audience mayhem Fast, loud, and unhinged. Winner of multiple Best of the Bay awards, the SF Chronicle hails Ruckus as “a dazzling, inspiring and celebratory display of talent… a tent revival for misfits and freaks.” Every show features a new cast, plus audience-judged rap battles and slam poetry competitions with $400 cash prizes on the line. Hosted by Jamie DeWolf (HBO's Def Poetry Jam, NPR's Snap Judgment) and Wonder Dave (Mental Health Comedy Hour), with masters of mayhem DizzyfromEarlier and Little Glitter Bomb, and our very special stage crew the Wu Tang of Weird.
