Canadian 🇨🇦 Thanksgiving: Shad & Canadian University Alums

Celebrate Canadian 🇨🇦 Thanksgiving with Shad Valley alumni and Canadian university alums! We are gathering at Harry’s Hofbrau in Redwood City for great beer, classic turkey dinners, and fantastic company. Spouses and partners are warmly welcome—the vibe is totally casual, I'll prep some connection activities to make it easier to make new friends and name tags will be provided. Event Details Location: Harry's Hofbrau (Redwood City) Ticket Cost: $10 (includes your first beer or drink!) Food Options (for purchase): Full Turkey Dinners ($21), Turkey Sandwiches ($15), plus the full restaurant menu. Capacity: Spots are strictly limited to 35 people to keep it cozy, so please RSVP early! Reservation time: Starts at 5pm. Please be prompt. Our reservation technically ends at 7pm but I'm sure we can keep hanging out. RSVP & Ticket Info Bringing a +1? Please RSVP using the 2 persons ticket type so we have an accurate headcount. Ticket Policy: Tickets are non-refundable. As you can tell by the low price (which literally covers your drink!), this small fee is just to ensure people who claim a spot actually show up! Payment Note: The charge on your credit card statement will show up as "STORYHabitsBook.com"— I am using my existing Stripe account to make payment processing seamless. Organizing this is a volunteer project on top of my day job, so keeping the tech simple is a huge help. So don't be surprised and don't dispute the charge please. Connection Activities Gratitude Board: Drop by the board to write down what you’re thankful for this year. The "Pay It Forward" Canadian Connector: Beyond catching up, we’ll run a lightweight, low-pressure icebreaker designed to help us support each other’s personal or professional goals for the coming year—ensuring you’ll be extra grateful for your fellow local Canadians by next Thanksgiving!
