Dean's Grad Scholars Welcome Reception

Beginning at 12:15 p.m., Assistant Dean Lupe Carrillo of the Access, Belonging & Community Office and Dean Arun Majumdar will offer welcome remarks celebrating the arrival of our newest scholars. About the Dean’s Graduate Scholars Program The Stanford Doerr School of Sustainability established the Dean’s Graduate Scholars Program as part of its commitment to cultivating a welcoming scientific community where everyone can thrive and experience a sense of belonging. The program supports outstanding incoming graduate students who have demonstrated inclusive scientific leadership and the potential to continue contributing to outreach, recruitment, and professional development across the school. Dean’s Graduate Scholars receive tuition, salary, and research support. They also become part of a multidisciplinary cohort that participates in community-building and professional development opportunities, including annual lunches with the dean.
