Tarot & Ritual by Candlelight: A Jewish Mystical Workshop

Gather by candlelight for a shared tarot reading, Jewish mystical reflection, and a little mystery with Heather Cohen. Start with candlelight, then see where the cards take you. We’ll begin by lighting candles and exploring Hanukkah’s themes of light, possibility, and renewal before turning to another source of illumination: the tarot deck. As cards are drawn, Heather will guide a shared reading, bringing their imagery and symbolism to life and inviting the room to consider different interpretations, connections, and unexpected insights. All you need is a little curiosity. Along the way, discover some of the fascinating connections between tarot and Kabbalah, the Jewish mystical tradition whose ideas have influenced some tarot traditions over time. Sip tea, enjoy light bites, and settle in for an evening that’s part Jewish learning, part exploration, and just mysterious enough to keep things interesting. Ages 14+. No prior experience with tarot or Kabbalah needed.
