Glamoure Performance Academy: Costuming: Thrift to Fabulous

Why spend a fortune on a costume when a thrift store, some creativity, and a little attitude can turn almost anything into stagewear? Great performers know that a fabulous costume doesn't have to come from a fabulous price tag. In Costuming: Thrift to Fabulous, we’ll explore the art of finding, modifying, embellishing, and transforming thrifted and inexpensive pieces into performance-worthy costumes. We’ll talk about choosing pieces that work on stage, creating a cohesive look, adding sparkle and drama, and thinking outside the box when it comes to materials. Whether you’re building your first burlesque costume or creating a completely outrageous drag look, you’ll leave ready to see the thrift store in a whole new way! All of our classes are intended for people 18 years of age and older. Spaces are limited, so reserve your spot now!
