Living Shorelines Experiential Workshop: NW Florida

This course is designed for those looking to gain in-depth knowledge of the process of installing living shorelines. CEUs available. This hands-on workshop is offered in partnership with Pensacola & Perdido Bays Estuary Program and Florida Sea Grant. This workshop is open to anyone who has previously taken the Living Shorelines Practitioner Training (previously called the Living Shorelines Training for Marine Contractors) two-day course and is looking for on-site experience implementing a portion of a living shoreline project. Course registration of $35 includes comprehensive project informatuion & instruction, project-related materials, refreshments, and lunch. As this workshop's on-site portion will be held outside, be prepared for Florida's autumn weather and please bring: water bottles, sun protection, clothes & footwear than can get wet and dirty, and towel and change of shoes and/or clothes.
