Pigments, Pictures, & Pillows: An Artist Workshop and Guided Gallery Walk

The Art Gallery at UWF presents a free pigment-making and fabric painting workshop led by artists, Farrah Phillips and Kierra Korpolinski. The Art Gallery (TAG) presents a guided gallery walk and make-and-take workshop featuring select artists from the Make It Last exhibition! Through conversation and craft, participants will be given the opportunity to connect even deeper with the exhibition and the work that lives in the space. The gallery walk will conclude with the exploration of an art installation by Kierra Kierra Korpolinski, leading to the artist-led workshop where participants will learn how to source pigments, make watercolor paints, and investigate fabric painting techniques to create miniature pillows or wall hangings! All materials will be provided, but we welcome you to bring any personal materials you would like to make with!
