Coalition Sketch Team Auditions

The Coalition Theater is casting a new sketch team for the 2027 season! The Coalition Theater is casting a new sketch team for the 2027 season. This new team will perform 4 shows in 2027. Our goal is to cast a team of writers and performers who will perform 60-75 minute shows throughout the year. Sketch Teams will be expected to meet most weeks for writing and workshopping their shows. Writers are welcome to audition as “writer only” for this audition, however, we are no longer accepting “performer only” auditions this year. We are looking to cast 8-12 people. Please sign up at https://rvacomedy.com/auditions/ if you’re interested! Please bring printed copies of a writing sample, enough for each character in the sketch plus 1 for the audition panel. We will be doing staged readings of your work with a mix of auditioners. Please bring writing samples that have no more than 4 characters and be prepared to quickly direct your piece and put it on stage. Auditions are Saturday November 14th at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm The audition panel will consist of the Coalition’s artistic directors, current sketch coaches and our newest sketch coach.
