Whether you’re a casual runner or a wellness enthusiast, this event is all about good vibes, great energy, and connecting with amazing people. Lace up your shoes, bring your friends, and let’s hit the grid together for a day full of health, amazing businesses, and community spirit! Costumes allowed but not mandatory (NO masks while running on main streets) ALL GUEST MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TICKET (including Children who take part of the 5k ) PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK Presented by Infinity Supplyy & The Grid Fitness Club By purchasing this ticket you agree to the following: 1. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION I voluntarily choose to participate in the RUNNN The Grid 5K & Wellness Event, including but not limited to the 5K run/walk, gym activities, workouts, fitness demonstrations, recovery activities, wellness services, vendor activities, entertainment, and any other activities associated with the event. I understand that participation is voluntary and that I am responsible for determining whether I am physically capable of safely participating. 2. ASSUMPTION OF RISK I understand that running, walking, exercising, using gym equipment, participating in fitness activities, and attending a public wellness event involve risks that may include, but are not limited to: • Falls, slips, trips, or collisions • Muscle strains, sprains, fractures, or other injuries • Dehydration, exhaustion, heat-related illness, or illness • Contact with other participants, spectators, vehicles, equipment, or objects • Injuries associated with gym or fitness equipment • Allergic reactions or adverse reactions to food, beverages, wellness products, or samples • Injuries arising from weather, road, sidewalk, parking lot, facility, or course conditions • Property loss, theft, or damage • Serious bodily injury, permanent disability, or death I knowingly and voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with participating in or attending this event. 3. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, discharge, and agree not to sue Infinity Supplyy, The Grid Fitness, the event organizers, event hosts, property owners, landlords, sponsors, partners, collaborating businesses, vendors, wellness providers, fitness instructors, trainers, DJs, entertainers, photographers, videographers, volunteers, employees, contractors, agents, representatives, affiliates, officers, directors, members, and any other person or organization participating in or supporting the event, collectively referred to as the “Released Parties.” This release applies to claims arising from or related to my participation in or attendance at the event, including claims involving ordinary negligence to the extent permitted by applicable law. 4. MEDICAL AUTHORIZATION If I become injured or ill during the event, I authorize event personnel to contact emergency medical services when reasonably necessary. I understand that the Released Parties are not responsible for providing medical insurance or paying medical, ambulance, hospital, rehabilitation, or other expenses resulting from my participation. I accept full responsibility for any medical costs associated with an injury or illness occurring during or resulting from my participation. 5. PERSONAL HEALTH RESPONSIBILITY I certify that I am physically able to participate in the activities I choose to undertake. I understand that it is my responsibility to stop participating if I experience pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, weakness, illness, or any other condition that may make continued participation unsafe. I understand that event organizers, vendors, trainers, or wellness partners are not providing medical diagnoses unless specifically identified as licensed medical professionals acting within their professional scope. 6. VENDORS, PRODUCTS & WELLNESS SERVICES I understand that independent vendors, sponsors, and wellness providers may offer products, samples, food, beverages, recovery services, fitness activities, or other services during the event. I understand that these businesses may operate independently from the event organizers. I accept responsibility for determining whether any food, beverage, supplement, product, service, treatment, fitness activity, or wellness experience is appropriate for me, including consideration of allergies, sensitivities, injuries, medical conditions, or dietary restrictions. 7. PERSONAL PROPERTY I understand that I am responsible for my own personal belongings. The Released Parties are not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal property, including but not limited to phones, bags, clothing, jewelry, wallets, keys, or fitness equipment. 8. EVENT RULES & PARTICIPANT CONDUCT I agree to follow event rules, instructions from event staff, facility rules, course directions, and reasonable safety instructions. I understand that the organizers may remove a participant from an activity or the event if the participant’s actions create a safety risk, interfere with the event, damage property, or negatively affect other attendees. 9. PHOTO & VIDEO RELEASE I understand that photographs, videos, and other media may be captured during the event. I grant Infinity Supplyy, The Grid Fitness Club, event organizers, and authorized event partners permission to photograph, record, and use my image, likeness, voice, and appearance for event recaps, social media, websites, promotional materials, advertising, and future event marketing without additional compensation. 10. INDEMNIFICATION To the fullest extent permitted by law, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from claims, damages, costs, or expenses resulting from my actions, misconduct, or violation of event rules during the event. 11. MINORS Participants under the age of 18 must have this waiver reviewed and signed by a parent or legal guardian. The parent or legal guardian acknowledges the risks described in this agreement and gives permission for the minor to participate in the event. 12. ACKNOWLEDGMENT I acknowledge that I have carefully read this waiver and understand its contents. I understand that by signing this document, I am giving up certain legal rights, including the right to bring certain claims against the Released Parties.
