OUT OF THIN AIRES Album Release Celebration

If you like Indian flute and vocal music, extraordinary piano, cello and violin, along with beautiful harp, rav drum and fingerstyle guitar…all manifesting in a deep meditative yet fun loving musical flow, then please join us in celebrating the CD release of “ Out of Thin Aires” Suzzette Ortiz: piano, harp and rav drums Amira Dvorah: bansuri bamboo flutes and guitars Daniel De Jesus : Cello and violin Deepak Kumar Pareek : Voice and harmonium Amira and Suzzette first got together as the musical accompaniment for a gallery event focused on the mystical poetry of Jalaluddin Rumi. They met five minutes before the start of the scheduled concert and what happened next was an hour of completely improvised harp, bamboo flute , guitar and rav drums… manifesting out of thin air, riding on the inspired sacred words. They decided to go into the studio, keeping that improvisational creative energy close to heart, to record the album, “Out of Thin Aires”. Deepak Kumar Pareek was able to add his velvety voice just a day before leaving on a trip to India. Daniel De Jesus was able to brilliantly add cello and violin from his home studio. Two years later, the album is here, and even more exciting is that all four widely busy and touring musicians are able to be together in one room for this one evening! Don’t miss it!
