Instructor Don Moore is a 37-year veteran law enforcement professional in the St. Louis, Missouri area and a former U.S. Marine Military Police Officer. He has served in numerous operational, investigative, supervisory, and instructional roles, including crisis intervention officer and trainer, special reaction team trainer, field training officer, and department training coordinator. A Missouri POST-certified instructor since 2003, Don is a subject matter expert in de-escalation, use of force decision-making, and implicit bias, with certifications from the Force Science Institute and the L.E.A.D.S Program. He holds advanced degrees in criminal justice and forensic psychology and is the founder of SBCM Consulting Group, providing training to law enforcement, public safety, and corporate organizations.
