Writing the Stories of Our Lives

Join us for four consecutive Tuesdays (Sep 22 and 29, Oct 6 and 13) to write the story of your life. Regardless of our age, writing our stories can help us learn about ourselves and make the most out of our lives. It can assure that our knowledge and wisdom are not lost. Plus, writing is healing. Clinical studies show that it strengthens the immune system. In this class, you will learn the basic elements of memoir, practice using them to write about your experiences, learn to recognize the patterns of your life, and share your stories for gentle, constructive feedback. Her work has been widely published in anthologies and journals and nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Linda has been teaching memoir writing for over twenty years, at senior centers, writers conferences, Bucks County Community College, adult education centers, and other venues throughout the Philadelphia area.
