Panels & Pages: A Comic Arts Celebration

Celebrate the power of comics, creativity, and community at Phoenix Center for the Arts. Join Phoenix Center for the Arts for an exciting evening celebrating comic art, storytelling, creativity, and free expression. Panels & Pages: A Comic Arts Celebration brings together comic book creators, artists, fans, and local vendors for a unique community event leading into Halloween Comic Fest. The evening will feature a live creator panel hosted by acclaimed comic creator Damon Begay, alongside three guest comic authors and artists. Panelists will discuss their creative journeys, inspirations, the comic publishing process, and the growing conversation around banned and challenged books in graphic literature. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with creators. In addition to the panel discussion, attendees can enjoy artist vendors, collaborative comic-making activities, a gallery exhibition, and book signings throughout the evening.
