Phoenix WestWater Forum

Join us for a cocktail reception and candid-conversation with leaders representing Arizona’s regional, state, and municipal water systems. Resilient water portfolios are built on diversification. For Arizona, that means making the most of existing supplies, developing new sources, and connecting the systems that move water across the state. Each depends on the right infrastructure, legislation, and partnerships. Panelists will discuss: • Maximizing existing supplies: how the Secure Water Arizona Program, storage, recharge, and coordinated management of surface water and groundwater help providers get the most from current supplies • Moving water between systems: how interties like the SRP-CAP Interconnection Facility link SRP’s Salt and Verde system with the Colorado River supply delivered by CAP • Developing new supply: from Phoenix’s Advanced Water Purification program to WIFA’s evaluation of large-scale importation projects • Supportive policy: the legislative changes needed to move augmentation and infrastructure projects forward • Partnerships at scale: how public agencies, utilities, and private entities can share the cost and risk of new supply
