Spill the Tea: Professional Scares

Join NOMA AZ for our October coffee talk! Hello everyone! For our fifth Coffee Talk, we’re getting into some important conversations about careers and anxiety, from the studio to the office in this month's Coffee Talk Spill the Tea: Professional Scaries!. Hosted at Minnow, we will be getting into how to navigate tough and unexpected aspects of the design world, and take inspiration from others' advice and perspective. This is a safe and casual environment open to all who might want to attend across the design field, both professional and collegiate. What challenges are facing you in this new semester? Are there aspects of the professional environment that you did not anticipate? Let us know! Minnow is a modern, laid-back café in Phoenix’s Arcadia neighborhood that serves specialty coffee, creative matcha drinks, pastries, and bagels in the morning before transitioning to fresh sushi, Japanese-inspired dishes, and craft cocktails later in the day. Here you can grab a great cup of coffee, enjoy a matcha or fresh pastry, and connect with the community. What are Coffee Talks? Coffee Talks are a NOMAarizona bi-monthly event. Order a warm or iced beverage of your choice from rotating cafe locations around the valley. In Coffee Talks, we come together to share, listen, and learn in a casual setting. This is a place where light and heavy topics can be discussed welcomingly while learning from different perspectives and joining in community. We encourage all to participate in the conversation as we explore many topics and coffee shops with NOMAarizona.
