Join the information session to learn how to protect your farm for generations to come through the Farmland Preservation Program. Connect with other farmers, ask questions, and gain insights into the preservation process. • When: Thursday, November 19 from 4-5:30 PM • Where: Franklin Park Municipal Building, 2344 W Ingomar Rd, Pittsburgh, PA, 15237 • Who Should Attend? Agricultural landowners interested in learning about farmland preservation Light refreshments will be provided. About Farmland Preservation: Farmland Preservation is a statewide program that places permanent conservation easements on farmland in partnership with farmers. Farmers receive easement payments to protect their land, often using the funds to pay mortgages, buy equipment, or expand acreage. This support can make continued farming financially possible. ACCD administers the Farmland Preservation Program in Allegheny County on behalf of the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture. For questions, contact Madeleine Sheinfeld at [email protected].
