A collab between Community Cultures & Jackworth Ginger Beer- made with local paw paw from Highland Farm & Garden and organic ginger from Peru. Join us on Friday, October 16th from 6-8p as we tap the one & only keg of this special ginger beer. One keg only, No cans! Local author Andrew Moore– writer of 'Paw Paw: In Search of America's Forgotten Fruit' & 'Beasts of the East: The Fall and Rise of America's Eastern Wilderness'– will kick off the party with a short history of the paw paw and fermenting with this native fruit. Meet the author, talk local history, and purchase a book from the man himself. Pittsburgh's own bluegrass trio Slag Mountain will be bringing the live music. Ticket includes all the fun above plus a 12oz pour of Paw Paw Ginger Beer (5%). We'll be hosting our usual Karaoke Friday after this event starting at 8p, so you can keep the party going!
