R00TED (Opening Reception)

Join us on Saturday, October 17 at Catapult Greater Pittsburgh for the second installment of **ROOTED**, an audio-visual exhibition by artist Jamillia Kaye, curated by Audra Lee. This expanded presentation features twenty portraits of creative leaders whose work has made a meaningful impact on the communities around them. Through photography, original poetry, and recorded reflections, ROOTED offers an intimate look at the people behind the spaces, ideas, and experiences that bring others together. Originally created in honor of Jamillia’s late friend Alicia Anglin, the project has grown into a broader reflection on care, legacy, and the question: **Who holds space for the space holders?** ROOTED invites guests to slow down, listen, and experience the stories of those who so often create space for everyone else.
