Intro to Acrylic Painting - December 2026

Begin your painting journey with popular, versatile acrylics! In this six-hour class over two weeks, (December 10 & 17, 5:30-8:30 pm), you will learn the fundamentals of working with acrylic paint by exploring the classical technique of still life painting as well as working from a reference image. We will cover color theory, perspective, and composition while working from in-studio still life sets and source photos. Acrylic paint is a great medium for those who are just starting their journey and for those who are looking to further develop their own style of painting. This class is for adults, as well as children 12 and older. About the instructor: Lucy Ericson earned her BFA from the University of Maine, focusing on drawing and painting portraits and figures.
