Target more invasive plants and promote native revegetation. We're hosting a second work party this month to help finish what we started in the Great Pond I preserve! Volunteers can meet this Saturday, October 3 at 9 am in the Kettle Cove Ice Cream & Shack parking area to walk into the trail from there. (2 Bowery Beach Rd -- thx for letting us park there for this event!) There will be some clippers, shovels, and work gloves to share, but feel free to bring any tools you may have that could help. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing for a morning outdoors, and remember to bring water to stay hydrated.
