meditation~~~~~~~movement~~~~~~~sauna NEW~~~ SLOW W A V E will feature different DJ’s and sound artists crafting unique, SLOW sets. Oct 4th will feature DJ Animo! (aka Bodie) S L O W WAVE starts with a collective Meditation to ground together quietly, from there we will move into a slow Movement dance set that gradually leads us to an integrating circle and quiet Sauna. These gentle sets aim to help us S L O W down, connect, and restore—both within ourselves and with our communities. *Please bring a water bottle, and two towels for the sauna (one for sitting, one to dry off), sauna space is clothing optional so please bring a swimsuit if desired. **Due to high demand, we will be limiting the door tickets. Please consider buying ahead of time to ensure there’s a spot for you. (There will be 10 tickets sold at the door, on a first come, first serve basis). Facilitators Eric Blasco is a Nature Therapy Guide, Men’s Work Facilitator, dancer, and Clinical Mental Health Counselor. His work integrates mindfulness, collective healing, somatics, and holistic health to serve in connection to our bodies, our lands, and our communities. Bodie Roybal is a social worker, men’s work facilitator, music selector, dancer, and grief worker. As DJ Animo, he approaches music as an invitation to move, feel, and return to the body. His genre-fluid journeys weave everything from house, breaks, ambient, classical, and sounds from across the spectrum. Each set follows an emotional arc, creating space for connection, expression, and somatic release through rhythm and movement.
