In this workshop you’ll be choosing your own piece of Black Walnut wood and transforming it into a functional work of art charcuterie board. Ditch the couch and a movie. Grab your favorite person, a pint, and build something beautiful together on a fall afternoon. Each of you picks your own Oregon black walnut board (approx. 8" x 16" x 1") and shapes it by hand — chisels to strip the bark, sandpaper to smooth it, then a dip in a mineral oil bath to bring out the grain. You'll head home with a take-home waxing kit, application and upkeep instructions, and your finished handmade board, ready to impress at your next get-together.
