Flowers & Wine

We’ll begin with a guided tour of CROPS, a Feed’em Freedom Foundation farm site, accompanied by local wine, a generous charcuterie grazing table, and time to mingle with fellow friends and supporters of BOLT & FF. During the second half of the afternoon, guests will head into the flower fields for a hands-on harvesting lesson, followed by a flower-arranging class led by Alexandria Saleem of Flowers2theFolks, a Feed’em Freedom program. Alexandria is a flower farmer, FF’s resident florist, and a member of BOLT’s Board of Directors. She’ll guide you through selecting seasonal blooms and creating a beautiful arrangement to take home. Whether you joined us for our recent Farm to Table dinner, Roots of Regeneration: Soil to Systems, or this will be your first opportunity to experience our work in person, we would love to welcome you. Flowers & Wine is a chance to slow down, enjoy the farm at the height of the season, and deepen your connection to the people and partnerships cultivating a more abundant future for Black communities in Oregon. Your $90 ticket includes: • A guided tour of the CROPS farm • Local wine for guests ages 21 and older • A large charcuterie grazing table • A seasonal flower-harvesting lesson • A guided flower-arranging class • Flowers and greenery for your arrangement • A vase to take home • Gloves and harvesting tools to use during the event Guests are also welcome to bring a favorite vase of their own.
