Then you sit down across from someone new and start there. Up Up Books is hosting a speed dating evening for lesbian and queer women and non-binary individuals. You'll have around 15, five-minute conversations. They start with books and from there you can ask questions you're curious about or pick a card from the question deck that's on every table. Some people come for a date. Some come for a friend. Some come because they miss meeting people without a screen in the way. All of it counts.
