Halloween Liars Club

Tell a tale, spot a lie, and dress to deceive! Join Singacoustic’s Halloween Liars Club for stories, costumes, dinner, and drinks. Everyone has a story. Some people even have a true one. This Halloween, Singacoustic becomes The Halloween Liars Club, a night of strange encounters, suspicious stories, and people who sound a little too convincing. Here’s how it works: take the mic and tell a three-minute tale. It can be something that actually happened to you or something you completely invented. The audience gets to ask questions, then votes: truth or lie? Only then do you reveal the answer. Bring your most unbelievable experience, or your most believable fiction. Prefer to judge from your table? Come for dinner, drinks, and the pleasure of catching someone in a lie. Storytelling is completely optional. Dress for the occasion, too: we’ll have a Best Costume contest, with the audience helping choose the winner. Gather your friends, prepare your alibi, and spend Halloween with us. October 31 at Singacoustic 2600 NE Sandy Blvd., Portland, OR 97232 Costumes encouraged. Honesty negotiable.
