LGBTQIA+ Kids and Their Families Day at Kindness Farm

🌻 EVENT DETAILS: LGBTQIA2S+ kids (of all ages!) and their families are invited to spend the afternoon at Kindness Farm! Experience belonging and community with each other and the more-than-human world. Get your hands in the soil or simply enjoy relaxing on the grass. We’ll have activities for all ages then make a rainbow smoothie together with produce from the farm. You can expect: • A welcoming community • Time to relax and just be • Sun print craft • Smoothie making with harvesting from the farm • Opportunities to get your hands in the soil and pitch-in on farm work • Honey by donation! • Free seeds! 🌞 This event will take place outdoors at Kindness Farm. 🌲 FREE or By Donation! Pay what you can. No one turned away. 🍄 Please get your tickets here before the event! This really helps us with logistics and preparing for the event. 🚙 PARKING Please park on the farm side of the street anywhere up or down the street. Do NOT park on the grass across the street from the farm (you will see "No Parking" signs). This is important for safety vehicles to pass through. We reserve 2 driveway parking spots (in the gravel, on the right) for folks with accessibility needs. 🌼 ACCESSIBILTY INFORMATION Venue is not certified ADA accessible. The farm's bathroom is not technically ADA accessible, but has been used by folks with wheelchairs. The majority of the farm itself is accessible, though not all parts are (we have some narrow pathways). Note that we use woodchips for the majority of our pathways. 🐝 COVID-19 & Other Illness: If you’re feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you rest at home and join us another time. Masks are not required for this gathering, but you are encouraged to mask or distance in whatever way feels right for you.
