Celtic Shamanic Ceremony - Samhain Honor the ancestors and make peace with the past With Wahe Gisela On Samhain when the veil between the worlds is the thinnest and darkness falls over the land, we can communicate with our ancestors and those who have passed on. In the Celtic Shamanic tradition it is the end of the old year and the the time to let go of all of the patterns, habits and beliefs that keep you locked in cycles of suffering. Make peace with your past and your fear of death. Gather in the circle of standing stones, under the canopy of ancient pine trees. Dance to the tribal sounds of the earth and go on a guided breathwork journey to cleanse and access visions. Walk the labyrinth and meet the Wise Crone. You will be given the opportunity to make peace with the challenges and tests you have faced this year. After the ceremony at 6:30 pm we will enjoy a vegan potluck. To Prepare: • Take a few minutes to think about what you are ready to release and what you want to receive. Write your intentions down in your journal. • Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in. • Eat a light lunch beforehand and allow time to digest. • Come with an open mind and heart and be prepared to co-create magic and deep transformation for yourself and our community. • If you feel a little nervous, or stuff starts to come up for you in the days before the ceremony, remember that you have chosen to do this work. The emotions starting to get stirred up is a natural part of your healing process. To Bring: • Yoga mat and blanket • Cushion or pillow • Water bottle • Journal • A vegan side or main dish for the potluck • A picture of an ancestor or loved one who has passed away or a symbolic item • Eye pillow (optional) • Crystals or sacred objects (optional)
