Make birdseed ornaments for your grandchildren to hang at each of your homes, then watch and identify the birds that visit, together. Join this in-person grandparent workshop for a fun way to connect with your grandchildren and help local birds through the winter. Make and share birdseed ornaments Create birdseed ornaments to hang outdoors at both your home and your grandchild’s home. You’ll take home ornaments for both households, a recipe for making more, a bird ID card, and a “watch the birds together” idea sheet. Winter is cold, and birds need you. So does a grandchild who misses you. Hang your ornaments at each home, then share your experiences watching which birds show up.
