Low Carbon Academy: Take Action

A workshop to help you take action and amplify the impact of your concern for the natural world and a rapidly changing climate. You've done your part as an individual, but how do you effect larger systems change? Learn how to speak with your legislator, submit a bill and get involved civically to improve the environment and public health. Save The Bay's Jed Thorp will discuss how to advocate at the Statehouse and beyond, and Common Cause's John Marion will discuss other civic engagement tactics and how to keep government accountable and working for you. The panel will also feature a lawmaker (TBD). After the workshop, there will be time for audience Q&A with the panelists. Light refreshments will be served.
