For intermediate watercolor painters. Hands on instruction to learn the Value & Splatter technique Join Our Value & Splatter Watercolor Workshop! Registration Fee: $150 Click Here to Register For intermediate level painters. Learn this unique process of beginning a watercolor painting with a value or “grisaille” monotone underpainting and then splattering it! Then finish it by glazing with colorful “local” colors and optional final splatter. image: The Portico, Sheila Newquist) YOU WILL NEED TO BRING YOUR OWN SUPPLIES. Click here for instructions & supply list. Teaching Artist, Sheila Newquist, has been recognized with awards for her “Values & Splattering” techniques. Sheila is represented by the Charlestown Gallery in Charlestown, RI. She is a member of the New England Watercolor Society, Rhode Island Watercolor Society, and several local art associations in RI.
