90s Hip-Hop Classics interpreted as Live Jazz Jams: 7pm (Session 1)

This is a Live Jazz Show. The Breakroom will be taking 90's Hip-Hop classic songs and turning them into live jazz jams. The Breakroom is taking the golden age of 90s hip hop and running it through their jazz band. Upright bass walking where the 808 used to thump. Drums swinging where the break used to loop. This is going to be a night ot remeber. Think A Tribe Called Quest, Snoop Dogg, Wu-Tang, 2Pac, Dr. Dre, The Pharcyde and more all being played as if they were Jazz. Songs such as California Love gets a slow, smoky strut. Gin and Juice pours out sideways and silky. Gangster’s Paradise turns into a late-night confession played by a band that feels every word. You know these songs by heart. But you've never heard them like this. Two one-hour sets, 7:00pm and 8:30pm. Pick your set.
