Join SheJumps for a beginner friendly fly-fishing women’s meetup on October 4th! Join us on this beginner-friendly fly-fishing meetup in partnership with Wasatch Women's Fly Fishing Club on the Provo River. *Register for the August 29th fly tying class here *Register for the September 12th casting class here. Come and practice the skills you learned at our fly tying or casting event, or simply join us for a community-focused meetup. Not sure if you have the skills yet? Don't worry! We will have experienced fishers joining us to help and mentor you throughout the day. We welcome all women, non-binary, and trans folks to join us! All ages welcome. Schedule: Exact meet-up spot TBA 8:00 am - Meet at location 8:10 am - Meetup starts 12:00 pm - Meetup ends The meetup will be held rain or shine (though, of course, we are hoping for good weather)! Please bring everything that you need to be comfortable for the 4-hour duration of the event. Potential gear: rod/reel (if you have one), a camp chair if you want to sit, rain gear and layers for cold weather, and sunglasses/sunscreen/hat/sun hoodie for hot weather. SheJumps will have a canopy and some camp chairs. We will also have a cooler with water and some snacks and energy chews provided by Gu. Our partner, Han's Kombucha, will be serving up cold booch and good vibes! Equipment: Gear is required for this event. We strongly encourage you to bring your own gear or rent.
