Ladies Laughter Lab: An Immersive Experience in Humor and Resilience

Discover the science of laughter, then experience it! A fun, immersive, low-pressure experience designed to help you laugh, play & connect. Welcome to The Laughter Lab for LADIES, a unique 2-hour immersive experience where neuroscience, psychology, humor, and play come together. Created especially for women, this is a chance to step away from the demands of everyday life, connect with other women, and give yourself permission to simply laugh and play. Led by Jen Shepherd, neuroscience and resilience expert, and Dr. Kristen “Kiki” Wynns, licensed psychologist, TEDx speaker, and stand-up comedian, The Laughter Lab explores the fascinating science behind laughter-what happens in our brains and bodies when we laugh and how humor and play can support our mood, resilience, connection, and overall well-being. But we’re not going to spend two hours just talking about laughter. We’re going to experience it. You’ll have opportunities to laugh, play, connect, and rediscover some of the lightness we tend to lose in our very busy, very grown-up lives. Through a series of fun, guided experiences, we’ll explore what happens when we intentionally make more room for laughter and play. And don't worry-you won't be put on the spot, asked to perform, or expected to be funny. Everything is designed to be welcoming, low-pressure, and genuinely fun. Participate at your own comfort level and let the laughter happen naturally. You'll leave with a little more knowledge about your brain, some practical ideas for bringing more humor into everyday life, and hopefully a whole lot lighter than when you arrived. Come curious. Leave laughing.
