Magnet Triangle – A Different Kind of Networking – October 2026

What if the exact person you unknowingly needed to connect with at a networking event was already looking for you? This month's space is generously hosted by American Underground. And the event is free for the first 30 American Underground tenants to register with the code provied by AU! Magnet Triangle is networking without the awkward small talk. You’ll meet smart, curious people, share what you actually need, and build connections that last beyond the event. Show up as yourself. Leave with momentum. You’ll be guided through a light structure designed to help you meet the right people and have better conversations. What if the person who could further your career was already looking for you? What if a room full of people knew exactly the insight you sought? What if your knowledge could be someone else’s Eureka moment? Welcome to Magnet. Where you can let your net...work. Some of the feedback from previous Magnet events: "The best, consistent, well run networking event in the Triangle. Hands down.” “The format of this event was fun and efficient. In the course of about an hour, I had meaningful conversations with about 12 people. I received valuable advice and felt that I helped spark some ideas for others." "It definitely exceeded expectations." " This is a great community of people with such a unique way to make introductions and network.” "Best networking event I've ever been to!" “Very grateful this exists for our area!” Here's how it works. How It Works: • Check-In: Get a numbered nametag and sheet upon arrival. • Write Your Ask: Handwrite a specific question or challenge (not a sales pitch) and post it on the wall. Tip: The best asks invite advice or connections, not direct job leads. • Label Yourself: Write your name and sheet number on your nametag. • Offer Help: Review the posted asks and leave sticky notes where you can help. • Make Connections: Find those who can support you and those you can support. Pro Tip: Don’t overthink your ask—it’s just a conversation starter! Approach the event with a mindset of helping others first for the most rewarding experience. Come experience a networking event that’s fun, fast, and genuinely effective.
