Strengthening the Circle: An Indigenous Symposium on Human Trafficking, Safety & Community Response October 8, 2026 Strengthening the Circle: An Indigenous Symposium on Human Trafficking, Safety & Community Response Join us for a one-day, hands-on, immersive conversation where we all learn together about the realities of human trafficking in Indigenous communities and the role we can play in prevention, response, advocacy, and healing. Designed for social workers, students, educators, caseworkers, Tribal professionals, and community partners, Strengthening the Circle will center Indigenous voices, community knowledge, and culturally responsive practices. Together, we will explore trafficking, exploitation, trauma, service gaps, survivor-centered approaches, and ways to build stronger systems of support.
