Connecting afterschool professionals and McKinney-Vento and Foster Care liaisons to enhance programs and uplift Nevada’s youth. Get ready to connect, collaborate, and be inspired at the 2027 Nevada Afterschool Showcase & McKinney-Vento and Foster Care Summit! This statewide professional development conference brings together afterschool and out-of-school time (OST) professionals, McKinney-Vento and Foster Care Liaisons, educators, and other youth-serving professionals from across Nevada. While their roles may differ, these professionals share a common goal of supporting the learning, well-being, and development of Nevada’s youth through quality programs, services, and meaningful connections within schools and communities. Held February 25–26, 2027, at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa in Reno, Nevada, this two-day event will feature inspiring keynote presentations, engaging breakout sessions, valuable resources, and opportunities to connect with professionals from across the state. Attendees will explore practical strategies, innovative approaches, and best practices to strengthen programs, support youth and families, and build meaningful partnerships. Join us as we celebrate this year’s theme, Every Connection Matters, recognizing the important role that relationships and connections play in creating supportive environments where young people can learn, grow, and thrive. Leave with new ideas, valuable resources, and meaningful connections to bring back to your programs, schools, and communities!
