The Nevada League of Cities & Municipalities, in partnership with the University of Nevada, Reno's University Center for Economic Development (UCED), is pleased to launch the Nevada Public Leadership Academy, a year-long educational program designed to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and leadership capacity of Nevada's local government officials. Join us for the Academy's first in-person training of the year on Monday, December 7, 2026, at the University of Nevada, Reno's Innevation Center in downtown Reno. This full-day training will bring together elected and appointed public officials from across Nevada for an engaging educational experience focused on the responsibilities, challenges, and opportunities of public service. Whether you are newly elected, an experienced public official, or looking to expand your understanding of local government, the Nevada Public Leadership Academy offers an opportunity to build practical knowledge, connect with colleagues, and strengthen your ability to serve your community.
