Join me for the premiere of Las Reinas Del Valle, a documentary and celebration of Mexican culture! For generations, escaramuza has been more than a sport. It’s a tradition passed down through families, a connection to culture, and a way of keeping something meaningful alive. This documentary follows “Las Reinas Del Valle” an escaramuza team as they prepare, practice, and compete. While getting a closer look at the women behind the gowns, horses, and the arena. I wanted to make a film that felt less like a look at a competition and more like a look at the people who give this tradition its meaning. Join me for the premiere of this film and a night celebrating escaramuza, family, culture, and the stories that keep traditions alive. The night will consist of viewing of the documentary, brief Q&A and light refreshments.
