Who Can Join? NAWBO membership is open to individuals who meet all of the following criteria: • Are women or identify as women • Own an equity interest and actively participate in a business, as a sole proprietor, active partner, LLC member, independent contractor, or a 5%+ shareholder in a corporation • Support and subscribe to the mission and vision of NAWBO • File an IRS Schedule C or F, receive IRS Form 1099s from clients, or file corporate/LLC/partnership tax returns • Maintain an office or workspace (including a home office) 3.
