Open Mic Night: Poetry, Music & Live Accompaniment

An evening of poetry, songs, and live music in Manhattan. Come to listen, connect, or take the mic and share something of your own. Join us on October 4 at 7:00 PM in Manhattan for an Open Mic Night organized by Svitlana Kosolapova. Svitlana is a Ukrainian actress, theatre director, and founder of Brave Acting Studio. She has spent more than a decade on stage and brings people together through performances and creative events in New York City. This evening is her invitation to share the stage, hear new voices, and connect through art. Expect poetry, songs, and monologues, with live music by pianist Fima Chupakhin and guitarist Michele Romeo. Come to listen or take the stage yourself. If you already know you’d like to read or sing, please send your material and approximate performance length in advance. This helps us plan the program and live accompaniment. If inspiration strikes during the event, let us know — spontaneous performances are welcome as time allows. Everyone attending, including performers, needs a ticket. Dress code: Burgundy, Bottle Green, or Ink Blue. BE BRAVE! BE BRAVE!
