ENLIGHTENMENT Movie Night: In the Jungle with Jane Goodall

Maya, a regular attendee at the salon talks, has suggested a regular Movie Night, a discussion group with movies that make us think, smile and give hope. Due to copyright issues, we can’t name the movie but here’s a hint about the film, which has rare footage of a an inspiring life. We’ll watch the film (it’s approx. 90 minutes long) and then have a short discussion afterward. “Hope is often misunderstood. People tend to think that is is simply passive wishful thinking: I hope something will happen but I’m not going to do anything about it. This is indeed the opposite of real hope, which requires action and engagement.” — Jane Goodall Tickets are $5 .
