The documentary features rare footage captured by Ford Morrison during the historic exhibition, offering an intimate look at Toni Morrison’s ideas and the artists, writers and thinkers who joined her in Paris. A Special Conversation Following the screening, hear directly from Ford Morrison, the film’s Louvre unit producer and cinematographer, as he shares personal insight into his mother’s work and the making of the documentary. He’ll be joined in conversation by former Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson, bringing together two compelling perspectives on culture, community and the enduring power of Black storytelling.
