Planting at WellSpace Health

Join the Sacramento Tree Foundation for a fun and rewarding morning of planting trees at WellSpace Health along Stockton Blvd. Spend your morning with the Sacramento Tree Foundation as we work to increase our region's urban tree canopy, all while making the WellSpace Health grounds, and Stockton Blvd, greener and shadier for community members. Volunteers will be digging into soil, learning how to free 15-gallon tree roots from their pots, plant trees, mulch, and water. Tree Foundation staff will provide all necessary tools and supplies, and participants will receive a short training upon arrival. After reviewing safety, participants will work alongside staff, who will verify community service hours for volunteers who are registered on Eventbrite and checked-in. Support for this event is provided through our partnership with the Sacramento Municipal Utility District. Register now! Space is limited. If your plans change prior to the event, please update your registration status on Eventbrite or send a message to Tree Foundation staff at [email protected]. Support Sac Tree Donate to the Sacramento Tree Foundation to support our work growing thriving communities through stewardship of our urban forest!
