The Shed Sessions Jam: Monthly Jazz Jam Session

The last Shed of the month is where things get exciting! The Jam Session is where we can put what we’ve learned to the test. Unlike previous sessions where we focus on fundamentals, the Jam is less instruction and more performance. Be ready to bring your soloing stuff! This month we cover: ALL the tunes we played in 2026! The Shed Sessions are a way to meet other musicians, learn about the history of jazz, and learn the music. The tunes are a list of frequently called tunes at jam sessions and college auditions Happening every Wednesday from 5:30-7:00PM @ The Center for Musical Arts in Sacramento, the Sessions are a way to learn jazz one tune at a time. Lead by Daniel J Owens and Nate Furgason, we choose a tune at the beginning of every month to dissect and learn top to bottom.
