Beautiful music. Interesting people. A night worth going out for. Still love going out, but tired of loud bars, crowded clubs, and music that changes every thirty seconds? Perhaps you're looking for something a little more interesting. Candlelight. Beautiful music. People worth getting to know. An evening where you can actually hear yourself think, enjoy a conversation, and discover something wonderful. Welcome to the world of tango. First, Come Try Tango We're opening our dance floor to absolute beginners before the Grand Milonga. This is for you if: • You've always dreamed of learning tango. • You've never danced before and wonder if you could. • You love music, art, and interesting conversation. • You'd like to meet new people in a more thoughtful setting. • You want to try tango before committing to classes. We'll teach you a few steps, introduce you to the tango embrace, and help you feel at home in our dancing community. Come alone. That's how some of the best friendships begin. Or bring a friend. Then, Something Rather Special This evening, we're welcoming Los Ganchos Prohibidos for a live performance of traditional tangos and operatic tango. Imagine the warmth of candlelight, the extraordinary emotion of tango sung live, and couples moving across the floor while the music fills the room. There will be snacks, drinks, conversation, and plenty of interesting people to meet. This isn't a nightclub. No flashing lights, no shouting over the music, and no need to impress anyone. Just a beautiful, grown-up evening devoted to music, dancing, and good company. And the Best Part? Stay after your beginner class and enjoy the live music and Grand Milonga at no additional cost. One evening, a few new steps, wonderful people, and a live performance to remember. You may arrive knowing nothing about tango and leave having discovered a whole new world. Your Evening • 7:00–8:00 PM — Absolute Beginner Tango Class • 8:00 PM onward — Grand Milonga, social dancing, and live music by Los Ganchos Prohibidos • Throughout the evening — Snacks, drinks, and good company No experience needed. No partner required. Just bring your curiosity. One night might make you fall in love with tango. About Your Hosts — Two Flame Tango We're Sofe and Christopher, the teachers behind Two Flame Tango, a social tango school in Salt Lake City. Our school is for people who love music, movement, art, and good company. We bring together people who want more from their social lives. People who would rather spend an evening dancing to beautiful music than shouting over a DJ in a crowded bar. Our students are curious, thoughtful, and a little adventurous. They enjoy learning something challenging, meeting new people, and becoming part of a community. We teach traditional social tango with a somatic approach inspired by the Alexander Technique. Our focus is on connection, musicality, and the pleasure of dancing with many different people. We believe a great night out should leave you feeling more alive. Come meet us. You might just find your people. Explore Our Classes & Community
