Banned Book Read-in by Libro.fm

Celebrate Banned Books Week by joining our read-in and receive a free audiobook from Libro.fm! Exercise your right to read for Banned Books Week, October 4-10! We are partnering with Libro.fm and Silent Book Club to host this Banned Book Read-in. BYO banned book or ask our booksellers for a recommended purchase! We will also be taking (monetary or book) donations for the LGBTQ+ Chamber of Commerce's Read Between the Bans: Banned Book Giveaway. Feel free to purchase a banned books, read it, donate it, then receive your free audiobook! Postcard supplies will also be provided for attendees to write to representatives. Anybody who participates will receive a free audiobook courtesy of Libro.fm at the end of the event. A free Libro.fm account is required to redeem. Attendees will be able to choose between a free copy of Banned Together or How to Defend Books and Why. This event is all ages and free to attend. The venue is wheelchair accessible and masks are required and provided. Please reach out with any accessibility requests!
