You’ll choose from a variety of colorful cords and learn the knots and techniques to create your own Daisy Chain Macramé Plant Hanger, complete with a small pot or glass for your finished piece. Workshop Details Date: Thursday, October 1, 2026 Time: 6:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m. Location: Asher Adams Hotel, 2 South 400 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 Class size: LIMITED to 15 participants Rather than the traditional neutral macramé you may be used to seeing, Ryan's work brings bright colors and playful details into functional plant decor. During the workshop, Ryan will guide you through creating a Daisy Chain Macramé Plant Hanger from start to finish. You'll learn foundational macramé knots, work with your chosen colors and see how individual knots come together to form a functional plant carrier. By the end of the evening, you'll leave with a finished piece made by you and the foundational skills to keep experimenting with macramé on your own. Meet Your Instructor Ryan Hart | PinkHartCrafts Ryan Hart has been creating plant decorations and macramé plant hangers for around five years. After wishing for more colorful options than the traditional white macramé commonly found in stores, Ryan began experimenting with bright, artistic designs of her own. As an artist, plant lover and all-around colorful person, Ryan is passionate about bringing whimsy and color to everyday plant care through her work at PinkHartCrafts. Upon arrival, attendees will check in with a Craft Lake City representative, gather the necessary supplies from the instructor and select a seat.All participants must be seated no later than five minutes before the workshop begins. Craft Lake City strives to provide a high-quality making experience during every workshop. This policy ensures that participants have adequate time to learn, create and enjoy the activity. Waitlist Policy Craft Lake City workshops frequently sell out. Spots may occasionally become available when registered participants do not attend, and these openings are offered to individuals on the workshop waitlist.To join the on-site waitlist, please arrive 15 minutes before the workshop and check in with a Craft Lake City representative. Individuals will be added to the waitlist in the order they arrive.Five minutes before the workshop begins, Craft Lake City may invite waitlisted individuals to purchase tickets on site and take the place of absent participants. Placement is not guaranteed. Cancellation and Transfer Policy Craft Lake City cannot offer refunds or exchanges, but workshop tickets are transferable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to a friend, family member or another individual interested in the workshop. The person attending in your place must arrive 15 minutes before the workshop and present a printed or electronic copy of the ticket along with the original ticket holder’s name to a Craft Lake City representative. --------------------------------------- Parking is available at The Gateway, where the first hour is free and parking is $2 after that.
