About this event
Hi everyone! The University of Utah Data Science Club is hosting a fun and educational scavenger hunt on Monday, Sep 28 at the Merrill Engineering Building (MEB). Here’s what a typical hunt looks like: Check in at the main Data Discovery Hunt table outside MEB and scan a QR code to get your first clue or riddle. Each location has a QR code with a short puzzle or prompt related to Data Science or Computer Science.

Solve the puzzles to unlock the next clue and continue through all stations. Once finished, return to the main desk to collect prizes and participation credit. If you get stuck, you can quit the program and still receive a participation prize. The program automatically tracks your start time, completion time, route, and puzzles solved to rank winners. It takes no more than 10 min and maybe even quicker depending on how fast you complete! Event Details: 🕘 Monday, Sep 28 | 9 AM – 4 PM (drop in anytime!) 📍 MEB roundabout (check in at the main table) 🎁 Fun prizes like hats, mugs, t-shirts, and snacks! Top 3 finishers get extra prizes, and everyone who participates gets a completion prize.
