Drake's Hollow (an immersive fantasy tavern) The First Manifestation.

Join us in Drake's Hollow for a fully immersive fantasy tavern experience-- magic, mystery, and mayhem await! Drake's Hollow the First Manifestation Ever wished you could walk into a real D&D tavern for a pint after a long week? You finally can. Drake’s Hollow is taking over Thieves Guild Cidery in Salt Lake City for a night of live quests, fantasy ambiance, and great drinks. What to expect at Drake's Hollow: • Real quest-givers: In-character actors will be around the room with rumors, tasks, and mini-quests for anyone who wants to play. • Low-pressure vibe: You don’t have to act or stay in character. If you want to solve puzzles and hunt down bounties, go for it. If you just want to grab a drink with friends and soak up the tavern music and scenery, you’re just as welcome. • Costumes: Medieval gear, Ren faire garb, cloaks, or casual street clothes. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in! • Drinks: Craft ciders, meads, beers, and non-alcoholic options available at the bar. The Story: You do not find Drake’s Hollow by reading a map or following a trail through the woods. It finds you. Some of you might push open an unfamiliar wooden door down an alley you swear was never there before, or a building you thought was abandoned. Others receive an invite from a friend they never met. But all walk into a warm tavern filled with joy, good drinks, and better company. The tavern drifts between the cracks of reality, slipping without warning between planes of existence, appearing for a single night in a bustling mortal city, then vanishing into the mist of the Feywild, the ash of the Shadowfell, or the edge of the Astral Sea. Few know what ancient whim guides its movements, and fewer still can predict where the hearth will burn next. At the center of it all stands The Drake. Host, keeper, and permanent captive, they are bound to the hearthstones by old magic that refuses to break. The Drake ensures the hearth never goes cold and the tankards stay filled, but quiet rumors circulate among the regulars: The Drake is not the only one tethered to this place. The tavern is full of lost souls-- travelers, wanderers, and scoundrels from a dozen different realms who wandered in for a pint and found the doors behind them sealed to the worlds they once called home. Some have accepted their fate, trading rumors across scarred wooden tables; others spend their evenings looking for travelers clever enough to take on a task of helping them home. Step inside, warm yourself by the fire, and speak with the strangers at the bar. If you are willing to listen, you might just uncover a task worth undertaking, and help one of these trapped souls find their way back, or at least take one step closer to home. The basics: • Where: Thieves Guild Cidery -- 117 W 900 S Salt Lake City, UT 84101 • When: NOV 11th | Doors open at 7PM • Cost: $35 • Age: 21+ Whether you come with your regular gaming party or roll in solo, grab a seat at the table, all are welcome a spot at the Hollow's Hearth.
