About the Film Along a river at the edge of an unnamed city, two unemployed, directionless transsexual lesbians connect in a reality shifting way. One woman, Indigo, has the ability to communicate using a spiritual-emotional telepathy, which she shares with Junebug. Junebug is a wanderer who doesn’t stay anywhere for long, she fantasizes about using a spell she learned while hopping trains that takes you to somewhere called Elsewhere. Indigo isn’t sure if she wants to go to Elsewhere, she feels trapped in her life, but she’s used to it. And, once you go to Elsewhere, you can’t come back. About the Filmmaker Willow Skye-Biggs is a self-taught filmmaker, music producer, and multimedia artist. Her perspective is shaped by her experiences as an autistic, transsexual, and lesbian woman, as well as by raising a son with autism and Down syndrome. Her work explores the spiritual power of emotions and how shifting perspectives can expand our understanding of reality, with the intention of leaving audiences feeling elevated. We look forward to sharing this evening with you amigues. Con amor, SISTER Art Collective
